What is the WLS Road Trip and who can participate?
The WLS Road Trip invites everyone to explore Westchester County’s public libraries, discover what each library has to offer, and experience the unique programs, services, and spaces available in communities across the county. Anyone can participate, and you don’t need to be a library patron or live in Westchester to join. As travelers visit participating libraries, they check in, take a selfie, and collect a sticker and an entry for prize drawings at each stop. Visit more libraries to earn additional entries, with special drawing opportunities for those who visit 10, 20, or all participating libraries. The Road Trip runs through December 13, with prizes awarded at the wrap-up in January.
How to Play
- Get Travel Log
On your first visit to a participating library, pick up a Travel Log or information about how to get to the WLS Road Trip digitally. Both have a map of the libraries and more! - Scan & Earn Prize Entries
At each library, scan a QR code located at the front desk to log your visit and earn entries for prize drawings. More visits = more entries!
Take a selfie outside or inside and share on social media. Add hashtags #WLSRoadTrip and one for the library you’re visiting. - Earn Rewards
When you log 5 library visits, you’re guaranteed to get a prize. Keep going for drawing entries at 10, 20 & 29 libraries — prizes will be awarded at the wrap-up in early 2027!
